Client’s comment

¡Amamos trabajar con Inukshuk! (We love to work with Inukshuk!)

For us, every partner that we work with, we want to make sure that they care, that they understand the importance of our work for us, and only if we feel like they value it do we engage.

This was precisely the case with Inukshuk Studio. They crafted a website for us in which we are able to easily manage and invite our various writers and editors to work in posts, and easily manage it. On top of it, they helped us optimize our website for a modern look, that tackles our outdated and bloated system that we constantly fought with.

Overall, we count on them to produce content that is visually appealing and informative, as well as help with managing our digital services. We highly recommend them!

INTRODUCTION

A local business that cares more about educating their community than making bank is a brand that we simply had to work with!

When Winky first approached us for website and graphic design services, we were still early in our journey as a brand, and we were excited to have an opportunity to make educative sexual content visually appealing to an audience that, no matter who it was, would benefit from it.

With a variety of work for us to do, Winky’s partnership has helped both our business, and theirs grow!

Working with them since the pandemic, we have been delighted to see their growth and consolidation as a brand in their market, and we are even more excited on the opportunity to see them expand their business into Canada soon.

The project

The main part of the job was to migrate Winky’s original website to a new domain. They were looking to drop the “Sex Shop” label from their brand, as their original domain was winkysexshop.com. In this process they had also expressed their concerns with the Wordpress website that they had built, as it did not allow for the customization that they were looking for in their products, as well as constantly facing issues with online payments and other plugins.

With this in mind we recommended they switched to Squarespace, as it would also allow them to manage their site from the app. Although Shopify was another option on the table, they mentioned they had tried it before and preferred to explore other alternatives.

Because a lot of the content from their site was outdated, after a meeting we finally decided to rebuild the site from the ground up, revising content that they were interesting in salvaging, and essentially giving their brand a new launch.

Branding, content creation strategies and even marketing elements were created for them in what we hope is a new stage for their business.

Today, Winky has shown growth in their market share, even managing to participate in local conventions with a younger niche in their audiences that has driven revenue up!
