Our process
The development of mission, vision, values, customer journey, customer persona, business questionnaire and stylescapes for the Full Kit happens in parallel to the design of the logo, usually working with a singular version of them from which we iterate if necessary.
We meet with you virtually to understand your project. We conduct market research and perform a brand audit.
Exploration & Discovery
We brainstorm a range of ideas and concepts, sketch them exploring different styles and create a mood board.
Concept development
We create refined digital drafts, seek your feedback explaining our rationale behind our design and perform revisions.
Design & Refinement
We polish the design, ensuring it works well across different applications, generate colour variations and define our selection of typographies for various uses.
Finalization
We create mockups to show the logo in different and relevant real-world applications, and we present the final concept for final feedback & approval.
Presentation & Delivery
Inukshuk Studio offers support for any issues that may arise and we gather feedback on the logo’s performance and reception. We may perform minor adjustments in specific circumstances.

Considering every design is unique, and the amount of work required varies depending on the project, style and content, we meet virtually with you to provide you with a custom quote.
Instead of charging an hourly rate we provide a quote for the project, making it easier and more efficient to manage for both the designer and client.
The process
We meet with you to understand your needs, goals and objectives. With this information we develop a detailed project brief and agree on a contract.
Project Initiation
We study the industry you want to cater to, create a mood board to compile visual inspiration and develop a project timeline.
Research & Planning
As a team we brainstorm and generate multiple design ideas based on research to inform sketches and initial drafts. Once we have a direction we present them to you and discuss.
Concept development
Once we have agreed on an idea we focus on it and refine it. We then develop the final design and perform a quality check to ensure the project will meet the agreed requirements.
Design Execution
We deliver the refined design and gather feedback to make the necessary adjustments. We then perform up to 3 revision rounds to achieve complete satisfaction.
Feedback and revisions
After the final delivery we request feedback and evaluate the project internally to identify areas of improvement. We then ask for your permission to add the project to our portfolio.

Can’t find what you are looking for?

Once we have agreed on the scope of the project we will use our kit guidelines, if they are not applicable we give you a custom price.
We take 50% non refundable upfront and 50% once the project is delivered.
Payment methods are credit card, written check or Interac.

It depends on the scope of each project, and although deliveries may occur ahead of schedule, regular times are:
Basic Kit: 3 weeks
Full Kit: 5 weeks
Graphic Design projects: Variable, 2-5 weeks.

For all kits and graphic design projects we will provide the final product in all standard file formats (PDF, PNG, Jpeg) and the original working files (Usually .ai .psd .indd).
We can provide digital and ready for print files as requested.
We will try to accommodate any additional requests.
