Gleaming Touch

Inukshuk Studio provided Gleaming Touch, a service company based in Calgary with 5 years of experience, with a brand new website, a business card and a flyer.

Founder of Gleaming Touch—a cleaning and handyman service company in Calgary— Gabriel, approached us to elevate its brand identity and digital presence with a website.

With five years in the industry, they wanted a website that reflected their commitment to quality, reliability, and exceptional customer service.

After our discovery meeting Gabriel also commissioned us with a double sided flyer and a business card to distribute, which would all lead to the website we would create.

the project

Our first recommendation was a new logo proposal, we drafted it keeping the original brand colours, making it simple and testing its applications on several sizes. We also provided a mockup design for uniforms for their team. The proposal however was declined.

Additionally, considering Gleaming Touch had no online presence prior, we had to develop all resources from scratch. We decided to stick by the original logo’s scheme and generated a monochromatic palette with white, light blue, the brand’s sky blue, a dark blue and black. This way we had the possibility of creating visually different blocks on their website, framing its content and making it easier to navigate.

Their team was seeking a clean, minimalistic and straight to the point site, and so we did. We ensured that the language used on their page resonated with their values, which we gathered from our discovery call with them, and made sure to direct all the traffic into their contact form to try to get them as many new leads as possible.

Our focus was directed on conveying thoroughness and highlighting their biggest strength: Personalized attention.

For both the flyer and the business card the directive was clear: drive them to the website. They requested a QR code and their contact information. We wanted to prevent a generic look, and after a couple of proposals the Gleaming Touch team approved both.
